Emirati pay-per-minute car rental startup Udrive raises $1.3mn in just 48 hrs via crowd-funding

The mobility service joined hands with another startup Eureeca which facilitates online crowd-funding to get 200 investors onboard.
The importance of social distancing has given an edge to car rental and leasing services over cab aggregators, with tourists and Emirati residents opting for private rides. Udrive’s bid to complete its round of funding was hit by covid restrictions and it finally opened up to public for investments since people are back on the road.
